Design Approach: The Role of Color
A key element of this refresh was the intentional use of color and pattern to enhance the patient experience.
Healthcare environments can often feel clinical or impersonal, so the design team focused on introducing a palette that feels warm, calming, and welcoming while still maintaining a professional tone. By incorporating a mix of complementary colors and subtle patterns, the space creates visual interest without overwhelming the environment.
Color was used strategically to:
